
Dimension provides audio for Take That DVD release

Over 3800 screaming fans were privileged to see Take That live on stage once more when The Circus Live – the double DVD of the band’s spectacular 2009 live stage show – was officially launched at the hmv Hammersmith Apollo in November 2009.
To complement the fans experience of the premiere of the DVD, Dimension Audio provided a wide range of audio equipment to ensure that the entire audience would be delivered the cinematic premiere at its best.
Four flown and two ground stacked speakers each side of the Electro Voice X sub and a further six flown EV XLE and four ground stacked speakers positioned centrally were powered via TG5 and 7 amplifiers. An additional six speakers were placed each side of the Electro Voice XLC PA system, whilst the cinema surround sound system utilised 14 d&b Q series.
The double live DVD, Take That Present: The Circus Live, gives fans a chance to relive the magic of the Take That 2009 stadium tour and to see once more the jaw-dropping, record-breaking show that featured circus performers, a hot air balloon, an inflatable ring master and the memorable elephant! The double live DVD also includes previously unseen Abbey Road Studio footage showing an intimate session of the best songs from Take That’s last two albums.
Mark, Gary, Jason and Howard’s personal appearance to introduce the special preview screening also inaugurated a huge new cinema screen facility at the Apollo – one of the largest in Europe, which has been restored to the historic grade II listed venue after a 25-year absence.
