Dimension supply sound solution for VIP press presentation during Geneva Motor Show

The Geneva Motor Show is an annual, eagerly anticipated Motor Show, an opportunity for companies to show the trade, press and public their new uses in technology and designs. The Motor Show kicks off with various companies hosting their own press day, the day before the exhibition opens. Dimension Audio supplied and operated the sound requirements, working alongside Creative Technology who supplied all the video elements during Mazda’s press day presentation.

The presentation lasted 15minutes, during this time James Muir President and CEO of Mazda Motor Europe launched the new Mazda 2 and spoke of Mazda’s aims and expectation over the forthcoming year. At the end of the presentation the band Infadels played a short set, including their signature track “I can’t get enough”.

In order to achieve the 2 very different elements; band and presentation, Dimension supplied kit that could cope effortlessly with both tasks. This was achieved with a Yamaha M7CL 48 channel console with D&B Q Line arrays.
This type of event is second nature to the team at Dimension, having operated numerous similar events in recent years. Managed and overseen by Matthew Eve, working with production company Imagination, the event ran very smoothly and was a resounding success.
